Advice On Insuring Your Property

Insurance Reinstatement Values

We will advise you on how much you should insure your property for in case it is damaged by fire, flooding or some other insured peril.

The reinstatement value allows for completely rebuilding the property, the cost of demolition and also professional fees. (The reinstatement valuation does not include land value).

As building costs change significantly over time and are not linked to the value of the property, Insurance Reinstatement Valuations can rise or fall irrespective of the prevailing market conditions.

You should frequently re-asses your reinstatement value to ensure you have the correct insurance valuation.

An Insurance Reinstatement Valuation is NOT a survey and you should not rely on this report as a comprehensive statement of the property's condition.
