Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's)

An Energy Performance Certificate is part of a Home Information Pack. The certificates are commissioned by the seller from an accredited Energy Assessor.

The certificate provides 'A' to 'G' ratings for the building, with 'A' being the most energy efficient and 'G' being the least. A similar rating is provided to assess the buildings environmental impact.

An accompanying report provides advice on how the building's energy efficiency and environmental impact can be improved.

Our accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) can inspect and assess your property quickly and efficiently and provide you with an EPC to meet your requirements.

EPC Energy Efficiency Rating Chart

EPC's have been introduced by the Government to help improve the energy efficiency of buildings, to cut carbon emissions and to tackle climate change. It is now a legal requirement to provide an EPC when a building is built, sold or rented out.
